Riverview School District Honors Christi Irwin and the Irwin group with the 2017 Community Service Award

I was honored to nominate Christi Irwin and The Irwin Group for the 2017 Riverview Community Service Award. President Van Noy presented the award to Christi Irwin, representative for The Irwin Group, a local real estate agency, on August 8, 2017. This award is given annually by the School Board to a business group or community organization in recognition of service benefitting our students and district.  The Board acknowledges and appreciates the many times The Irwin Group has donated money to sponsor the Riverview Education Foundation events, Red Wolves Football Booster Club, and Duvall Days, as well as Ms. Irwin’s numerous years as a board member for the Snoqualmie Valley Dollars for Scholars.  In addition, Ms. Irwin has organized Irwin Movies in the Park and the Irwin Easter Egg Hunt in Duvall, as well as providing free paper shredding events.  Ms. Irwin is a true community contributor that positively impacts our students, staff, and community!
