Sally Coomer – Parent, Owner of Special Care Agency and Bridge of Promise

I have had the privilege of knowing Lori Oviatt for over 20 years and have observed her in many different settings and capacities. I have only seen Lori to be an example of dedication, hard work and integrity. Lori is an advocate for the young people and those who are disadvantaged. Over the years, Lori has provided countless hours of service both in our school system as well as in the community overall. She is very passionate about the quality of our educational system, and is dedicated in working to ensure that each student has the opportunity and support needed for educational success. She has first hand experience and knowledge in working with students as a teacher as well as in her professional life as a curriculum writer and trainer. Lori is a great advocate for all students including those with special needs. As the founder of the local non profit Bridge of Promise, I have had the privilege of observing Lori as a volunteer each summer for the last 12 years serving children and teens with special needs. Lori is a person you can depend on, and trust to do the right thing on behalf of those she represents.
