Lori Oviatt is an exceptional member of the Riverview School Board, serving as a role model and a guide for me throughout my position as Student Representative to the Riverview School District. Her contributions to this district throughout her years of service prove she is overly qualified for this position and have manifested itself in her being a vital factor in the Riverview School District winning School Board of the Year. Her countless leadership positions, such as serving on the Executive Board for WIAA, exemplify her poise and character as well as fearlessness to speak out for ideas she believes in. One of these ideas is student voice and engagement in our district, with her actions directly contributing to my individual success as well. Her selfless acts of guidance and mentorship have not only helped to shape my educational achievement but embody her compassionate nature. Not only has she had an impact on me as an individual, but she is one of the leading supporters of technology and innovation in our school district, being very supportive of the student representative program to our school district. This program has prepared me beyond measure for success at the collegiate level and beyond, and her direct involvement in this program has been crucial to its growth. In summation, Lori Oviatt is both a model citizen and school board member; I offer her my highest recommendation for re-election to the Riverview School District, Board of Directors.
